Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, so far we all agree that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, and I think its not a patentable idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, the thing is that I don’t control those blogs, and I have no way to post to those blogs, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.

Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you don’t like garbage on your blogs,to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, a successful blog needs a lot of hard work. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, look at this one, Know Your Ratchet Straps, it’s name is pretty cute, and it has a lot of interesting posts, without a clear theme, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. One more example, Reflective Tie Down Strap, this is a themed blog, the content on the this site has a theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. I can show you a lot more sites, but I believe you get the idea. Here is one last note, you should build some casual blogs, let them get some content occasionally, take one blog as example, Office Meal, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.

If you have a few established blogs already, you can try to build a few more, the old blogs will be helpful in promoting your newly built ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. This is just an idea, it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, there’s one thing you do have to remember is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
